What's up with shooting film?
As analog lovers, we prioritize shooting 35mm and 120mm film for all events and supplement the rest of the day with digital shots.
Yes, analog vintage film cameras. This means no previews, shot-in-the-dark film. But we’re pros, so don’t worry about it.
Why do we love film? Some call it “timeless,” some say it’s got a whimsical, dream-like quality— unable to be replicated even by the best filters.
Personally, I love the unique textures, colors, and tones produced by certain film stocks, and being a film shooter has helped perfect my eye for the “decisive moment,” a la Henri Cartier-Bresson.

Do you travel for weddings?
Sure! Where are we talking?
Base transport costs for local events (NYC, Brooklyn, Queens) are built into our standard rate packages.
After that, travel fees are based on distance, days of travel required, and nights of accommodations needed.
We frequently shoot events in Hudson Valley, Westchester, The Catskills, New Jersey, Long Island, and more.
Got an even further destination wedding? Reach out for a custom quote and we can talk!

Do we get to see all the unedited photos from the day?
No, and trust us, you don’t really need to.
We take a lot of time and care to carefully cull through all the film and digital images from your event and hand-pick only the best of the best; intentionally curating a charming and poignant album from the day.
By taking a more minimal, editorial approach to final curation, your final album feels that much more magical and elegant.
Less outtakes, less duplicates, and more intentional moments that you’ll want to revisit for years to come.
Of course, extra images from the day are always available for purchase after the event at $10/photo if you need them.

Can we get a custom package?
Currently, our 4 standard wedding packages reflect what’s been most requested by clients in the past, and what we’ve found works well as professionals.
Our rates reflect the time invested both before, and after the wedding so that we can deliver you the best experience, and best final album possible.
There’s nothing we hate to hear more after a job than: “I just wish we had more time,” so we try to be as realistic with you as possible about photo timeline and scheduling.
With all this in mind, if you feel like your event still doesn’t quite fit within our standard package offerings, we’d be happy to chat over a consult to find an custom option that works for you.

What if we don't want an engagement shoot?
Primarily, the reason we offer complimentary engagement sessions to our wedding couples is so that we have a good excuse before the wedding to get to know you.
Even if you already did your formal “I said yes!!!” pictures, or you’re just not the type— we’d still love the time to hang with you one-on-one, in a very low stress environment.
This is so we can get a sense of your personality, your style, your good side, your bad side (there are no bad sides, but-) and anything else important.
Plus, this gives you a chance to get comfortable with us, understand our style of working, and let us know if there are things you liked or didn’t like from the engagement shoot. This way, we can cater to you best on your big day.
It can be as casual as drinks at a coffee shop or bar, portraits in your living room, or a walk around the park. But we do encourage you to be open to the engagement session in some capacity, as it helps us do our job better.

Why should we book with you?
Well, because you want to!
If you’ve found us, you’re likely an “out-of-the-box” bride or groom, prefer a non-stuffy photo vibe, are traumatized by horror stories of “group photos” gone wrong, or have better style than everyone you know.
We see you, and we support all of that.
Shooting film-heavy wedding albums is not for the weak, but we do it despite rising film prices and the medium’s inevitable unpredictability. We do it for people like you that appreciate it as much as we do!
When you book with us, you’re trusting in us, but also in the magic of analog photography, and the beauty of humans in all their messy glory. Plus you’re trusting in our 10 years of photo experience, and our camera bag of 5+ cameras, backups, flashes, batteries, etc.
We come prepared for everything and anything, and we aim to be not only your photographer for the day, but a good friend and confidant; leading you in the right direction, and offering a comforting moment of respite whenever you might need it.
TLDR; Good photos, good vibes.
